	ANNOUNCEMENT: The Database Group at TUM (Prof. Alfons Kemper, Prof. Thomas NEumann) offers two PhD positions. The research focus is on innovative optimization concepts for business and research applications. Qualified candidates should have experience in databases as well as in related areas of practical computer science like computer communication, algorithms, distributed systems, etc. Interested applicants please email to Prof. Alfons Kemper.
