Modern Techniques in Database Systems

(Analyzing Social Networks for Fun and Profit)

Seminar

*Description:*	We will cover different topics on the online social network (OSN) analysis, including information spread, content and structure analysis, estimation of networks' sizes, scalability of online social network systems, the structure of popular OSNs like Twitter etc.
*Registration:*	send an email to Andrey Gubichev, papers will be assigned during the first seminar
*Organisation:*	The first meeting is on Wednesday, 19.10.2011, at 2 pm

*Rules:*	Presentation should be sent to us at least one week before the talk. The speaker also has to write a summary of the paper and submit it no later that two weeks after the talk.
